A clinician can disconnect at one workstation and resume the same centrally hosted desktop at another location, with applications and working context still available. Ward rounds, shift changes, remote triage, and multi-site work no longer require a fresh desktop setup at every device.
Patient information and clinical applications remain in governed central infrastructure. A shared workstation, thin client, tablet, or laptop acts as an access point rather than a local data store, reducing the security impact when a device is lost, replaced, or shared.
